Intro to Coding with STEM for Others
Description Get a fun, beginner-friendly introduction to Java and Python in this hands-on 4-week workshop series, meeting Sundays, August 3rd - 24th at 10:30am. Taught by a team of enthusiastic high school students from STEM for Others , this program is designed to help soon-to-be high schoolers build foundational coding skills in a supportive and engaging environment. No prior experience? No problem! Each week, you’ll learn core programming concepts while working on creative, real-world projects like simple games and digital art—projects you can actually build and share. You’ll also develop key problem-solving skills and gain confidence using technology in exciting new ways. Open to students in grades 5–8.
