Solar Explorers (Grades 2-6)
Join us for a fun and educational solar adventure! Kids will explore the wonders of the Sun through a presentation from the San Jose Astronomical Association. Then, we’ll head outside to Central Park to safely observe the Sun using solar telescopes and sun spotters! Don’t miss this exciting way to spark curiosity about space and science. For grades 2-6. Parents are required to stay with their children for the second half of the event, which occur outside in the park. Registration is optional. This program is generously presented by the San Jose Astronomical Association. Your attendance to this program grants permission to the City of Santa Clara to take your photograph and/or your child’s photograph for marketing purposes.
