Summer STEaM at Almaden
Drop in on Tuesday afternoons in June and July at 4:30 p.m. for a new STEAM adventure every week: Jun. 3 - It’s a Solid… It’s a Liquid… It’s Oobleck!Oobleck is a suspension, or a substance that can mimic the qualities of a solid or a liquid. Participants will make their own oobleck and experiment with it to determine under which circumstances it behaves more like a liquid or a solid. Jun. 10 - Lego Engineering ChallengeAt the workshop, children will be encouraged to build and solve problems.
