Art Explorers: ArtHouse Studio Summer Camp

Create, imagine, and explore everything from chalk to drawing to painting techniques and more! Use your imagination, have fun, and create beautiful works of art that you will be proud of! Police Storytime
Time: 10:30 AM | Location: Santa Clara City Library - Central Park Branch
Join us for a very special storytime with our local police officers! This storytime will be in lieu of our regular storytime. Afterwards you will be able to take photos with police officers and their police car! Your attendance to this program grants permission to the City of Santa Clara to take your photograph and/or your child’s photograph for marketing purposes.
Family Storytime with Stay & Play
Time: 10:30 AM | Location: Santa Clara City Library - Northside Branch
If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands! Connect with us for a fun, interactive storytime. Storytime is a magical time for children of all ages and abilities to learn and interact with one another. Our Library staff will share stories, songs, rhymes, fingerplays and movement! Grownups can also learn some tips for engaging kids in early literacy. Get ready to move, sing and laugh. We also invite you to stay and play after storytime is finished. The library will provide toys for exploration and free play. Family storytime is at 10:30 at Northside Branch Library with Stay and Play immediately afterwards until 11:15 a.m. Your attendance to this program grants permission to the City of Santa Clara to take your photograph and/or your child’s photograph for marketing purposes.
Baby & Me Storytime (0-1.5 years)

Baby & Me Storytime is a 15-20 minute program designed to promote early literacy for babies birth-1.5 years old. Storytime includes songs, a simple story, fingerplays and nursery rhymes including early literacy tips for you to take home and practice with your baby. Bring a blanket for your little one if you’d like. The Library will provide toys, puppets or sensory items for exploration during stay and play following the storytime. Family Storytime: Celebrate Disability Pride Month!

Introduction to Lego Robotics by The Funky Monkeys

Join a free five-week Lego Robotics workshop with FRC Team 846, The Funky Monkeys! Based out of Lynbrook High School and running a similar program at a local middle school, the team will introduce you to robotics through SPIKE Prime. The Cricut Open Lab is a 45-minute learning session on select Fridays with machines available to use. First-time users can learn what the Cricut machine is and how it works.
